This past Mothers Day we Thanked our Mothers for bringing us into this world and loving us to the end. Did we remember our loving Grandmothers who has been their for us also. I called my Grandmother in Idaho and wished her a Happy Mothers Day. She said she should have called me. I told her she's my Grandmother and if it wasn't for her I wouldn't be here. What about the Mothers and Grandmothers who may have joined our families later in life. We have a wonderful Grandmother who has been married to my Father in-law for almost 5 years now. She puts everything on hold to be there for her Grandkids. She was never able to have children of her own. (She lost two Pregnancy's)So when she married Bob she told him she was just marring him for his Grandkids. She works as the night shift NICU nurse at Tacoma General. So she sleeps during the day and works at night.
Madisen had a school Mothers Day program at 8:15 Am last Thursday and invited Donna to come. Donna came even though she had been at work from 7PM-7AM the night before.
She was very excited to be invited. It was a little hard for her since her own Mother just passed away weeks before. But it also made her day.
Spencer Had his 1st grade school musical friday morning and invited Donna to come at 8:30AM. What a dedicated Grandmother. She couldn't miss her little Grandson in his Cowboy Scene. We Love You Grandma Donna!!

Donna is a special woman. I remember meeting her during a REALLY difficult time in our lives, when Monique was in the NICU. She is a tenderhearted, gentle woman with so very much compassion. She touched our lives in more was then she will ever realize.
