Swimming lessons at the Y

Today started a new session of swim lessons for our kids.
We changed over to the Gig Harbor YMCA since we live across the bridge now.
I really like the Gig Harbor Y and not just because I work there.

Tanner in his class. This is the fist time not in a parent/child class.
He did GREAT!

Spencer doing a back float with his teacher. There are only two kids in his class. Which is a good thing because that boy has a ton of energy!

Madisen loves swimming so much. She can't wait to be on the swimteam.

I loved watching the kids do swimming lessons... Hopefully next year we'll get Danee in to a parent/child babyswim class!

Your kids look like they're having an absolute blast in the pool!

So cute!! We are really and truly going to buckle down and get some swimming lessons going by the end of the month- at the high school this time. My oldest doesnt like anything that seems remotely scary so I always put it off :(

i totally remember taking swimming lessons as a kid. i also remember loving it!

i was able to teach my friends daughter to swim last summer in our apartment complex pool and had a blast everyday with her. that is one thing i can't wait to do with my kids...when i finally have them...which won't be for many years! =)
